Alexys Serio

Oklahoma native Alexys Serio has been in marketing and advertising for the last 7 years. She joins us from her stint in Dallas, TX, where she worked for the likes of D Magazine Partners, D CEO, and the Dallas Business Journal. She spearheaded the launch of Texas’ Women’s Leadership Initiative, Diversity & Equity in Business Symposium, and Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards. Her professional fulfillment comes from empowering others and providing a platform where there otherwise may not be one. “If you would have told me I’d be the director of marketing for a roofing company 10 years ago I would have called you crazy – now I can’t imagine being anywhere else. Who else gets to say that they work at what is effectively a 125-year-old startup? It just goes to show that if your missions are aligned everything works out the way it’s supposed to – Standard’s mission is to Protect What Matters, and so is mine.”  Alexys has a 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son that keep her days full of energy, patience, and a ton of laughter.
